While developing our Enhanced Dress Socks we were looking to design a sock that was comfortable, had some performance features similar to those found in athletic socks, but still had the lightweight feel of a dress sock. We started by drawing our designs and the features that we thought would be the most beneficial for all-day comfort. These included arch support and breathability; we chose Skinlife yarn with silver microparticles for the most advanced antimicrobial and odor control. We think the socks turned out great and our customers have been happy with the result.
Our manufacturer is located in Taiwan and has been making socks for over 30 years. They worked with us to match the dress socks to our tie colors as well as improve the durability of the sock construction. Their account manager was fantastic, had a sense of humor. Taiwan is 13 hours ahead of us--which was great as we are located on the West Coast and could work with her before we went to bed.
